I think I haven't mentioned it in the about me, I like to read stories. Instead really like the characters, I enjoy the world setting and the plot. This is also same as the reason I am interested in anime and manga. However, I am not a person who is curious and digs deep for the story. Well, I know this since I was studying secondary school in Hong Kong.

I remember that the two language modules, Chinese and English, have the Reading Exam and I always scored quite low, around just past and most time is failed. Since the exam will focus on understanding more and test the students can they conclude the paragraph or the whole text, or get the main message from the text. I am not good at these skills and quite spend time reading the text, so this result I spend too much time just reading.

Another thing is today is the 5th Holo Fes. I watch the live online (sadly I don't have that money and time to go to Japan). Quite enjoyed the live show and I am now waiting for the 1st stage since I skipped it(it starts at 3 am here so I chose to sleep). Because of the cinematic module in last term/semester, sometimes I also look how the light and camera movement in the show. But most of the time is enjoying the songs and the feeling that from the whole live.

I think I started watching and interested in the Holo vtubers since Gura's debut in 2020 Sep. That "A" noticed me, and later the karaoke took me to the membership. While later the Minecraft Sport Fes by Miko brought me to the rabbit hole, though actually Fubuki's ASMR before is the first Holo stream I watched.

In the beginning, it is quite hard to catch what they are saying, in both English and Japanese. Since some of them have their own accent, and they also speak quite fast. Besides, at that time I am still working for the company, so it is quite hard for me to focus on what they are saying about the EN side stream in the morning(UTC+8 Hong Kong Time). While it is better for JP streams at night time, it is still hard to catch the meaning due to I does not study any Japanese before. (though I stayed in Japan for 2 months in 2018 for the exchange project of the FYP for the Higher Diploma)

I don't know when I could know what they are saying in the stream totally(well maybe understand like 80~90% now?). So listening to Japanese is quite fine now, but I still don't know how to speak, not to mention knowing how to read and write Japanese. Honestly, I am not a person who likes to study a language, I think it is quite boring when learning, especially when it comes to I am a person who would passively to know and talk with others unknown.

Later today I might need to go out to buy daily stuff. If I have time today or maybe later day, I probably have another post about my life before in HK and during these 2.5 years in the UK.
