Paul's Game Design Portfolio

About Me
I have just graduated from the Gameplay Design course at Staffordshire University (which recently changed its name to the University of Staffordshire). It is quite different from the subjects I studied back in Hong Kong, but I believe that exploring new areas of knowledge can open up more opportunities. I am now looking forward to finding a suitable job, and I am also open to new challenges.
Speaking of my hobbies, I have loved playing computer games since I was young. From the old Flash web games to today’s mobile, indie, and AAA titles, I have always enjoyed them — especially for their narratives and gameplay design. Sometimes, I stream on YouTube or Twitch to record my playthroughs. Most of the context is in Traditional Chinese for easier understanding, though the audio is often in another language, such as Japanese.
Because of this passion, I also developed an interest in computer technology, both hardware and software. The world of networking has provided me with new knowledge every day. In recent years, I have also started watching live streams on YouTube and Twitch. At the moment, I mainly watch streams from Hololive Vtubers, and interestingly, I have even started to pick up some Japanese, despite never formally studying it. I also enjoy using ChatGPT as a tool to generate ideas and assist me with daily tasks.
